You basically line the control and pickup cavities with copper foil or something similar to shield it from electromegnetic interference from lights and stuff. That said, most guitars now will at least come with shielding paint in the cavities, I know my prestige S did and thusly its pretty quite an...

It's not all child psyochotics, it's just people can't stand seeing misinformation and feel a insinctive urge to correct it. May I quote an xkcd: http://imgs.xkcd.com/comics/internet_argument.png It's much easier to be an asshole to words than to people. btw, not everyone on guitar forums are braind...

And maybe one day this thread will finally get back on topic. I also, like budt, thought the topic of the thread was resolved (i.e. the 'For The Love of God' issue, with the answer being 'buy the official book'.) Is it really a problem that the thread is being developed in other areas? Do you have ...

Billy Sheehan says often that he doesn't know the theory behind what he is playing, but does that make him a bad bass player? The evidence I've seen so far says not. And there is nothing wrong with working out songs by ear. On Cesar Huesca's Vai covers, he says he has no tabs and all the songs are p...

I don't know if that's always true...

When I was a baby, I used to love hitting keys on the piano at random. It was dissonance most of the time, but it was brilliant music to my ears. Though that might have been just satisfaction of making sounds. Who cares, it was fun.

Awesome. I can't wait to hear the track list. One would assume it's the track listing from the entire album  Included are select backing tracks from... Sorry, I wish it was the entire album too, but apparently not. Anyway, it's not like they'll do a backing track for Alien Water Kiss, and oth...
