I actually got in touch with Steve through his management about helping fix Evo and he said that Ibanez will be taking another look at fixing it but that he might keep me in mind. I have repaired antique furniture for many years and I believe that I could fix the problem using a technique that has ...

Derek Sherinian comments on other musicians
I'm a huge fan of Dereck Sherinian considering he was in my favortie band Dream Theater and he's currently the the most scary (musically) band on th eplanet Planet X. A friend sent me this page from his site where he comments on all the guitarists he's work with and at the bottom of the page he link...

As much as you guys are gonna hate this idea I think Steve should retire Evo to the recording studio because road wear will kill the damn thing really soon. As for replacments there is no such thing but in a live setting he certainly can play another white Jem and it would be pretty good, it's not l...

Ok, I gotta tell you guys about my number 2 vocalist on my list. His name is Jorn Lande and he sounds like a mix between Ronnie James Dio and David Coverdale. He's so damn powerfull and emotional too. The first time I heard him was when he was touring vocalist for Yngwie Malmsteen and he slayed me i...

That would be Doug Aldrich, he's one mighty awsome guitar player. He plays with taste and fits songs perfectly even though he's a full fledged shredder of the hightest order. http://www.dougaldrich.com/

Ronnie James Dio!
I just thought I should start a topic having to do with my favorite singer Ronnie James Dio. For me there's no one out there that can wring so much emotion from a song and not sound cheesy doing it. Every time I hear "All The Fools Sailed Away" or "Stargazer" or pretty much any epic song he sings I ...

I remember the first time I saw Steve with my girlfriend, I was scared for Evo's life! He was twirling it all around and flipping it yet still had all the time in the world to play every single note. In sharp contrast to me when I play guitar I'm in this pose where my gaze is downcast watching my fi...

hmmm,... I am the only one who uses jim dunlop 3mm picks? I've used the 3mm Stubby's. Those are great for sweeping but it's so fat that it changes the way I do everything else. As for growing attached to a pick it's mostly because I'm crazy and when I find things that work I stick with it. I've bee...

Damn, lost a great pick!
I had to come on here and tell you guys about loosing an awsome pick. Yes I know picks are cheap but I grow attached to them after a while and can't bear to part with them. It was this purple Dunlop 1.5 mm and I scratched an X into both sides so it won't slip when I'm playing fast and I left it on t...
