Hey fretpick thanks for the links, but i'm not looking to purchase an instructional booklet; I'm moreso looking for the phrase written in tablature or a brief explanation in music theory. But again, thanks for replying!

Anyone else?

common vai tapping phrases

Hey crew, Anyone have the TAB or can just explain in theory some of vai's long tapping phrases (which are also multi-string)? I'm thinking about one in particular; he uses it alot live in improv, and can be heard in "Bad Horsie". It is mainly a pentatonic sounding phrase with a few little "tasty" no...

frank zappa's music

I'm curious why frank zappa's music is regarded by many, including vai, as been so hard, difficult and ingenius, etc? Is it because of the odd time meters and odd phrasing common to his music?

oh ok i found it in the vai-tunes store.....but to be perfectly honest, i was only looking to get the one song, 10.99 for the whole album just to get one song is too much for me. So [to the moderators] would it possible to break up the album and get the individual songs?

Vai's 10hr& 30hr workouts

So i've seen a few threads around this forum in regards to the workouts but i can't remember if any of you actually have them. If someone does have them, could you send me the link or document??...i've always wanted to try these exhaustive workouts and see what they're like.

Thanks,
