Trivium actually uses DR strings (I work for DR, I would know).

Does it piss anyone else off all the dickheads waving their phone cameras around at gigs?
Actually, Bono once got pissed at a fan because he thought the fan was making a phone call during the concert instead of taking pics/vid

Bleeker Street, Grenwich Village. Famous, the WHOLE street is lined with alternating pawn guitar shops and record shops, it's awesome because I'm a record collector and a guitar player.

But Bleeker Street's where it's at, in Greenwich Village.

Use a metronome, and a delay pedal, both will teach you to get your timing dead on (metronome's pretty obvious, and a delay pedal won't just show you a mistake, but repeat it and you'll get timing down perfectly. Some of the Edge (u2)'s licks are really hard without the delay. It's interesting to se...

I have the G2.1u, and the 606II before that, Zoom makes GREAT products, only problem is sometimes you can tell it's digitalized.

I would buy a sustainer, but I LOVE my neck pickups (great for soloing, amazing tones when combined with a middle pickup).

Anyway the 401 is for a vintage single-coil pickup slot in the neck and the 101 is for a humbucking neck pickup slot.

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of the Marshall sound either, there are better amps out there, especially in the price range of your amp.

If you want, try using a Boss DS-1, it'll give you AMAZING distortions.

Try cutting the tone knob, and turn everything down low and go from there, the pickups could be pretty dead.

Honestly I didn't think Octavarium was amazing, so Systematic Chaos is amazingly good. They definitely went in a darker, Train of Thought direction, which is what I wanted because Train of Thought is my favorite cd by them.

You could take a visit to a local wood store and buy stuff there, like Home Depot or Loews. I've built stuff in my wood lab (unsucessfully, as I didn't ahve time), but yeah it's possible.
