I'm interested to know how you find Tool and Pink Floyd similar. Mikey :) vai.com Fair enough, and I should've explained more in the first place. Somehow, again IMO , Tool tends to create this atmospheric mood or sound on their albums that, reminds me of Floyd's earlier releases, a la Meddle. Songs...

It sounds like you sir are one of those can't take a joke, nor an opinion. If it is not about whether we like Tool or not, then why do you get so jumpy about one's opinion?

I like some of their music, but I do not consider myself a fan. IMHO, they try to sound psychodelic or what not, but they are no Pink Floyd. obviously..how could u even attempt to compare them..theyre completely different :?:  :? Didn't you see I typed IMHO ? It is MY opinion, so take it or ...

^ Interesting way of thinking. From an ethical stand point, IMO, you did not break any unacceptable rules (such as any sort of law) or potentially cause anyone any unwanted suffering of any kind by buying a used cd. After all, we live in a free market, and free trades are a norm and are acceptable b...

I have no problem with buying used cds or used dvds. It is not like I steal stuff off the internet or anything. Sure, the artists won't get any more money from the used purchases made in the market, but at least the cds or dvds are bought and sold legally! It is basically the same thing as in buying...

richie is good at what he does, same for paul. although it was a sad day for me when i learned of paul's departure :( Agreed. That said, while I used to be a big fan of Mr.Big, I thought their song writing skills were just so so. Lean Into It and Hey Man were awesome, but that's about the only albu...

Hey Chris, I can see your points, though I do not entirely agree with you... that said, I always thought the jam can be improved by having the three guitarists playing / covering each other's tunes. Hey, ain't that fun to see and hear Satch plays For The Love Of God , or Vai plays Surfing With the A...

A very long time of the same song with same licks. 1- hour, 3 songs, you do the math Either you lied or your watch is broken. The entire jam section lasts about half an hour max. In responding to your opinion on the jam itself, what do YOU sir think would be the best way to execute it without makin...
