* Please note, I based my opinion on after just 5 listens * My initial thought after just 5 listens is, IMHO, TOT sounds better... I have been a DT fan since 1992, and compared to their last 4 or so albums, I think the overall quality of the songs in this album have dropped off a little. Sure, they ...

Not a bad solo by any means, but personally I think Comfortably Numb and Shine On You Crazy Diamond top it.

Downloading something (the entire SC in this case) illegally then brag about it as if nothing happen makes me sick! If you support the band or even claim you are a fan, buy the cd! I bought the album pre-ordered from amazon - in March. I downloaded it illegally two months after actual...

Same here, I would go for the dvd alone! I really want to check out how Satch perform back in the dayz when he still got hair and all... That said, I am looking forward to the re-mastered Surfing With The Alien too. Those re-mastered materials featured on his Anthology double cd sounded very impress...

Good for you, but I think you forgot to thanks the one person / organisation that matters the most... it's YOUR local promoter, dude. Without your local promoter, Dr. Vai would likely not have a show in your area. Don't forget to thanks them. ;)

Eddie certain looks alot better in those photos, and I wish him all the best. I sincerely doubt, however, (and I hope I am completely wrong) VH will ever release anything relevent anymore.

^ Yeah, totally agreed. Besides, Steve is already well into some other projects as we speak. He is just too busy to even think about anything else.

I am huge DT fan since 1992, and I simply cannot wait for SC to come out!

After listening to Constant Motion for days now, I am so looking forward to the rest of the album very much. That said, Constant Motion as a song is just ok, but I totally love Petrucci's phrasing during the solo!

Wow! It sounds like a good show and the setlist is pretty awesome, especially PG's.

I am a huge fan of Petrucci, but am disappointed to know that he is STILL playing those same old tunes from the 2001 G3 tour...
