Don't pop them with a pin.

Leave them until they die down, popping them will mean there's open skin which is liable to get infected.

Steve Vai - I Know You're Here (intro, ascending tapping with synth chords cascading in the background). Alanis Morissette - Everything. Was my ex-girlfriend and I's 'song', can't listen to it anymore, for the time being anyway. Gwen Stefani - Cool, bit of a puzzler but a long story :? Steve Vai - W...

The best advice anyone on these boards could give you (even if i do say so myself) is to go to a guitar store near to you that has a large selection of amps including all the ones you're interested in. Take your guitar and other gear which is an integral part of your setup and play them to death unt...

Look at Billy Sheehan, Jeff Beck, both have incredible technique and are able to get a variety of different techniques out without using a pick (Ok i'm sure they both do sometimes).

His right hand is barring all of the strings at a certain fret, becoming sort of like a capo, and shortening the length of the neck. This is one of the coolest techniques I've ever seen, and I'm pretty sure Satch invented it. It's got nothing to do with barring or shortening the neck, he's muting t...

If i'm having a day at home where i'm going to play guitar all day long (like learning a piece, practising, or composing something) i'll put the guitar on the stand nearest to where i'm sat. At night they all go in their cases (especially my Jem :p) as when they're out they just gather dust and i ha...

Some pianists/violinists can read like madmen :o In my opinion it's down to the fact they're always learnt from music, some classical guitarists can too and it is possible, it just takes a damn lot of practice. I'm a turd reader, i think i could manage a grade 3 piece (i play classical aswell as ele...
