Help! my tremolo arm snapped!!

basicly, while adjusting my rg1570, i tried to test the tension in the tremolo arm and it snapped!!! there's a piece stuck in the floyd rose system and i really need help on how to take it out, i really dont have the money for a new floyd rose. please help!!! this is what it looks like http://i101.p...

i think that vai picked up some modal interchange skills from satch, because he has this ability to come out with super exotic scales and licks out of nowhere while in a pentatonic sequence of the song
this is a skill i've noticed in most good solos and songs

i'm a little confused, basic polyrythms are used by most guitarists, triplets, sextuplets and so on. a while ago paul gilbert showcased octuplets and i think thay when you're improvising fast you do them automatically. if you mean the more complex ones i think someone should post a specific example....
