First of all it's really loud. Like bleeding ears loud. But it can do way more than just face melting metal. Listen to the new album by Thursday (A city by the Light Divided) Those guys are far from metal but they used Uberschalls and Ectasy heads on the record.

I'd go for that Laney GH. But you should seriously consider the Orange AD140. Beautiful.

woah I don't like the RG much much but that thing is sick. I looks really stripped down and simple.

It's an ok guitar. Plays well and mods easily. But for that price range I'd try looking at the S series Ibanez Guitars.

I prefer the bar to be somewhat loose. I have trouble finding those washers in stores.

It really depends on how you tweak the pedal as well. If you turn the gain on the pedal to 10 you're gonna get a poopy sound. I think Steve tweaks it so it's somewhat transparent.

That's just not cool man. I'd sit down and have a talk with him and let him know what you think. Personally I don't think any single member should come a decision like that on his own. It needs to be a mutual decision between the two of you. The only time I would ever take that crap is if Vai was th...

The JEM. I'll make that thing sound good, even if it means beating my fingers to shit!!! There's nothing wrong with Squires though. Some professional musicians use squires, but they get them custom built and stuff. I started out on one, it was a rental, if I ever find the exact one, gosh that would ...

Imac G5 Duo Core (Good For Home Studio?)

He was looking at the IMac G5 Duo Core but was afraid that he might have diffuculty upgrading the sound or graphics cards and what not. Does anyone here use this Imac for a home studio setup? Or...

I say you should go. Then, punch him in the face, and cut off his left hand. Seriously though, if it were up to me I'd take his rates into consideration, I mean if they're really expensive you have to think about that. Also how much time do you get? How many students does he have. If he has a buttlo...

Good to hear it worked out for you. If you think that was hard. I play in a three guitar band. People love the stuff but god my ears hate me so much.
