I'm with Lo Lo, the sonic maximizers really clean up your sound a lot. Musiciansfriend has them. Also the Furman Power conditioners are really cheap as well. They're great to have on any rig the has rackmounted effects.

If you read the issue of Guitar Player that Steve is on the cover on he gives an in depth runthrough of his pedal setup. He does run the EVH pedal.

It's a great pedal, a bit pricy but you can really get that authentic Atomic Punk sound out of it. Finding one of the vintage Phase 90s must be hard.

I wonder how much money Steve has invested in picks. He probably goes through them like toilet paper. All those picks must add up.

Sounds good, I've also been thinking about building one. My dad owns a window manufacturing workshop and he has all the materials needed. It might be kinda sketchy but I think it's worth a try, but at the same time it might just be me trying to be cheap.

Yeah I've been looking into those 6505 heads, I don't think I'm really into that whole "melt your face off/shred it up ultra gain" thing. I heard that the legacy heads were a bit less gainy and more clear sounding, I gotta find some where to try it out. but i think that 6505 is still a possible choi...

I don't know. Right now I have a little over 2k for a new amp, but at the same time i don't think it would be wise to spend all that on an amp. I love the 5150 amps but at the same time Im curious about the Legacy. It's just hard to hard to find a store that I can try one out at when all you have in...

6505 Amps

Has anybody here tried those new 6505 heads? It seems to me like they're 5150 heads with different badging. Just wondering if anybody had any experience with them. Is it also true that the 6505 has more gain than the 6505+?

Lol, how did those pedals crap out on you? Did the crybaby activation switch die? I know that happened to my friends and you have to step on it like a madman to activate it. I think you're right about the new crybaby switches.

Balls i think i put this question in the wrong section.

I need some Serious Wah Pedal Help

For about three weeks now I've been shopping around for a wah pedal. I've only tried out the Crybaby Classic Wah and the Bad Horsie 2 Contour wah. The crybaby was ok and the contour sounded kinda weird, like it didn't have a large wah sweep range. I've also been interested in the Bad Horsie 1 and so...

Something like a JEM Tour and convention that tours nationwide or even worldwide. Kinda like Jemfest, only bigger. Seriously I can't wait til they reach that 50k mark.

I see, thanks for your help. I don't know I've been thinking about those Core cases but they're supposedly made of chep plastic. I found a brand called Angstrom cases on ebay, they make those airline ones. I'll kep shopping around. Thanks again for the help, I'm new to the board so thanks for the we...

Steve's Pedal Case?

Does anyone here know what kind of Pedalboard/Case Steve uses? I've been looking everywhere for for a good one, but a bunch of them are really low quality. I was wondering if Steve owns a specific brand or just uses one of those ATA approved airline cases.
