There was someone on the forum who posted pics of his EVO and FLO replicas. The looked kind of worn and nicely aged. My JEM is an 05, can't wait til it gets all beat up.

we all know only real men play Telecasters. But I would have to go with the Les Paul. I have a Standard and a Custom and I really don't need any other guitars.

This definately is a let down, but here's a little secret, nobody likes to tour Florida. It's full of douchebag promoters, it's hot, people would rather listen to DJ Tiesto, and there are too many alligators

The Holy Grail from electro Harmonix is probably the best sounding reverb you can get in a stompbox. The problem is that a lot of those boxes come with factory defects. My friend and I have gone through 8 of those things until we found one that worked right. Try the Line 6 DL-4 delay, and a nice tub...

It was a pretty cool performance. Is it just me more did his playing reflect an esscence of Steve's? With the phrasing and some of the whammy stunts. That was one sick strat he played.

The high E on my 52 Telecaster got caught under the neck pickup live the other night. It made a really high pitched screeching sound and it sucked. My 1982 52 telecaster reissue now has an ugly piece of tape on the neck pickup

Old topic I started a while ago but I just thought you guys should know that this band is playing with Steve Vai and Paul Gilbert on January 20th at the Ibanez 20th Anniversary JEM, RG and SR show. It's at the Key Club in Hollywood. Everyone that has the chance should go. Funny, last time I saw this...

Slash89 you're totally right. Steve has changed they way I look at music and is by far my greatest guitar hero. I saw this vid at work yesterday. I loaded it on the comp minimized the screen and started doing paperwork. I just heard the octave chords in the pre-chorus sections were a little off. Hey...

Sloppy Steve

Steve is awesome as usual in this video. But I noticed his playing was kind of sloppy during a few parts of the song. I think this is the first time I've ever heard him mess up. Oh well not like I can do any better! <edit: Do NOT post commercially available video. Mod7vwh> Check out 1:03, 2:14, and ...
