My dad has a rotor saw, it got dull one time so the blades were just blunt steel. I had an old RG sitting around and I cut all of the other strings off, except for the low E... The drill was probably plucking the string hundreds of times per second as it spun around. It only lasted for about a minut...

 When I hear some older tunes, I get a feeling I prefer his pre-Legacy sound. I AGREE!!! When he was using Bogner he sounded (well to me) better... Shred On :guitar Yep, I've been saying that for years now. I really liked that PAW sound he had. Vai can do without the legacy.

Actually, most EMG instilations don't require routing, the electronics cavity, or tremlo cavity is big enough to store all of the electronics.

How old were you when you got your Jem, if you have one?

I am a proud Jem owner at age fifteen, I have heard that some adults that have been vai fans for years don't even have a jem yet. Just guess I'm lucky!

I'm not even sixteen yet, and I have a fine knowledge of modes, all diatonic scales, and other scale forms. I study music theorey for hours a week. I can play eugenes trick bag at an accurate tempo of 115 with strict accuracy. I'm getting faster, I can play most to all of the melodic parts on vai's ...

No - that's a wall at the Harmony Hut. "The Vault" is just like it's called: a vault. It's a very secure climate controlled room that houses many of Steve's master tapes and guitars. Mikey vai.com I like it how mikey just knows everything, steve probably asks him questions about himself. :P

i'd have flo - Evo isn't gonna be playable for very long now. A moments silence if you would. You are probably just kidding, because Thomas is so good at working guitars over so well that I can see evo going for years more. Just because the paint on the body is chipping away doesn't mean that the g...

What you stumbled into is what I call THE ZONE my friend. Its this wierd (or not so wierd) connection you get between yourself and your instrument. Things you wouldn't normally do just come out. You learn things in THE ZONE because you get taken to places you don't go to on your own. It's a real li...
