I know! Imagine mr.Vai in DT! Would top it even more. but i still think JP does a great job in DT, if it wasnt for his wank solos... Petrucci 's earlier solos were fantastic, as I think they still are. Maybe not as melodic, but they're still great. I also don't think Vai in DT would work well.

This whole "I don`t like this guy/band `cos thay bashed my idol" -thing pretty childish. It`s good to notice that some people can actually forget the crap and take the plain music and appreciate it or hate it just for it`s own sake. Get over it people! I agree.
