Yeah - coz you can't even spell it correctly! Other threads before have clarified that he no longer uses the Keeley DS1 (because he likes the stock pedal / because he wants to be able to get replacements from local shops immediately if necessary, etc), but that he does use the TS9 DX Turbo. I...

I lent RIR to a friend who said, "Just as I've always thought; technically of course he's amazing, but the thing is ... the guy just can't WRITE! I mean he doesn't know how to write a song. There are no actual songs on the whole album! Nothing you can actually remember or sing to yourself. It's just...

I got mine in a shop in Eastbourne. South Coast of the UK. They were very nice - I had a buzzing sound coming from one of the transformers - turned out to be a seating problem, and they told me over the phone what to do to cure it (wiggle the foam and screw the transformer in a bit harder)

maybe Steve has a deal with Boss and they won't let him use the modded pedal - after all, that's bad for them, right? (though why they don't upgrade their DS1 I don't know - I've got an Ultra, and it is SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE STOCK ONE!!!! I LOVE IT)

BTW, the reason your noise gate has a send and return is so that you can have another load of pedals coming out of it. So another setup could be: FX Send -> Noise Supressor -> FX Return And from the noise suppressor: noise suppressor send -> bbe max -> eq -> noise suppressor return I've never seen t...

The DS1 Ultra does its job. It provides a *perfect* saturated distorted sound, so you can make a noise like on the first song on the Alive album (what's it called again? I'm shite with song names). The TS super-duper thang will complement it perfectly. The Ultra is only £104 from the UK, or a few mo...

Get the Keeley DS1 Ultra mod. Then you can just go into the clean channel with the full-on Vai scream.
