"Ah Via Musicom" was the first album that really put him on the map(or was it "Tones"?), and I like that one alot. It has "Cliffs Of Dover" which is the one posted in this thread and a bunch of other good ones. I like "High Landrons" The other one I have is the album "Venus Isle" which is a bit more...

Yea, the guys very all-around talented-you might even say genious. It's always refreshing to see one of his videos. It's not hard to see why he was so big in the 80's

Washburn C104SCE is the most guitar for the money. I've been looking for one myself. Rosewood back and sides, solid cedar top, and b-band electronics, ebony fretboard and bridge. Washburn may have recently changed the specs on these because I've seen different specs on different sites. Price is arou...

Lemon oil is cool for rosewood fretboards, but it will just run off of an ebony fretboard. I have read that ebony is a naturally oily wood so it dosen't really need oil like rosewood. Just wipe it down with a lint free cloth and some mild soap and water. Now, I have no experience with those other oi...

Ahh yes. There is always one shmuck that thinks Eric Johnson is boring. Maybe I'm wrong though, since I know you can compose and play an instrumental classic on Austin City Limits which is where all the greats end up.. Or maybe it's because you've wanked off to G3 too many times and the love is now ...

Then don't listen to him!! He dosen't need to change his style. If he did, he would probably get flack from people like you. Oh Yngwie is trying to be this or that... get over it. He is what he is, like it or not. I happen to like it, but you know I don't listen to it all the freakin' time, just eno...

Rex Carroll. If you like wild crazy guitar solos, then you'll love Rex. He is one of my all time favorites. He's even thinking of doing a guitar solo album like Vai and Satch. I hope he does!! Some small sound clips of Whitecross for those who have never heard them... This is a re-make of thier firs...

Ash is probably what your looking for. Brighter than mahogany but not as bright as aldar, and not as soft as basswood(which I've never tried). I can definitly hear the tonal differences in wood though.
