Re: Best Evo Ever

Just some embellishments Steve added. He said he has been getting to art and drawing and showed us some pictures of his work on his iPhone.

However, I like to think of it as Steve writing his native language from planet guitar;)

Best Evo Ever

There were only two of us at Evo experience in New Orleans on Friday due to an accident on the interstate that delayed the other participants. Steve sat down and chatted with us for a good forty five minutes. He's got some cool stuff heading our way;) Got a really unique and customized autograph fro...

Will Steve sign my guitar if I bring it to the Evo experience? Thanks.

Re: Whatever, its Vai

It shows up on the iPod after you transfer it. The iPod categorizes the music and the new Vai CD shows up in a category named "Whatever, its Vai".

Whatever, its Vai

I ripped the new Wild Things CD into my iTunes and it conveniently categorizes itself into a new category called "Whatever, its Vai". Pretty funny!

Re: Suggested Vocalists for Next Vai Album

Steve himself mentioned that the did all the singing on the last album because he could not get the vocalists he wanted to participate. So, we are helping him out with some fresh guest vocalists ideas! How about Paul Stanley? Very underrated singer who did a song on Sarah Brightman's last album and ...

Suggested Vocalists for Next Vai Album

I wouldn't mind seeing Steve shake it up and bring a lead vocalist aboard for the next album and/or tour. Who would you realistically (i.e., Robert Plant probably ain't happening) like to see singing with Vai? Personally, I think Sebastian Bach would kick some ass.

Re: Twitter

John Mayer may not be everyone's cup of tea but there is no denying the man can play when he chooses to. If nothing else, though, you should follow him to learn how not to tweet if Steve decides to open a twitter account. His user name is johncmayer-- you have to watch out as there are a ton of idio...

Re: Twitter

I think Twitter is great! Very low maintenance and if people don't like it, they don't have to follow. Freaking John Mayer has something like 600K followers. What a great way to communicate directly with your fanbase.

Re: YOUTUBE !

Basically, most sites determine where you are based on the IP address you are using. A proxy server provides you with an IP address that makes it appear that you are in a different country, thereby circumventing any geographical restrictions. If you access a site through a US proxy server, that site...

While there is no excuse for stealing music, the record companies missed a golden opportunity when Napster launched. Instead of trying to license the music and get on board with the changing technology, they tried to sue Napster into oblivion so they could hold on to their golden egg-- the compact d...

Interesting. I don't think the JEM sounds anything like a Les Paul however.
