he is awesome in the studio. but live or at a concert he is very sloppy. rumors are that he doesnt warm up, but instead sleeps his ass off on the couch while other bandmates are rehearsing :shock:

ok. fluttering is not advanced. but incomporating that technique into a casual playing style is quite advanced. whenever i flutter, people are amused here, even the guitar players are amused by it.

actually, fluttering the bar is quite advanced. and bending notes around 5 steps requires great skills. cuz u might just break strings. also satrianis harmonics with open strings and then the bar movement is quite advanced.
