Not Dreaming. The video most certainly does exist. I saw it on VH1 shortly after Time Machine was released. It's just Joe by himself playing the song in some old room. However, I can't remember anything about the guitar. Sorry.

David Bowie - The Motel From one of my favorite Bowie albums. I'm glad to see someone else has mined the 90's for Bowie gems. Some of his best stuff. It frustrates me how most people blow off this decade of Bowie's career or are completely ignorant of it. As for a favorite song, it's impossible for...

Get the special edition of the album. It has a bonus dvd with an extensive interview and an extra song. It also includes a packet of Beekeeper seeds. The seeds are various wildflowers. Pretty cool. Her autobiography Piece by Piece is out too.

The coolest rhythm guitar playing ever.
T-ride was a great band, but they weren't an 80's band. Their album came out in '92. You're right though, Jeff Tyson is a great guitarist. I wish there was more from these guys.

I would have really like to have heard Devin Townsend sing this song. I was under the impression that he was going to be guesting on this album. However, I think, for the sake of continuity, it is best that Vai sang all of the songs himself. Although, I do think that Dev's voice and style would lend...

I bought an Eric Johnson tour-shirt instead of a Vai shirt at a show on the first G3 tour. That says a lot about my appreciation for him, being that if anyone asks me who my favorite guitarist, without hesitation, I'll say it's Vai . I just wish EJ would increase the rate of his album releases.

Big Nails fan here. Like Soren, the Fragile really resonated with me; it is my favorite NIN album. A Vai collaboration with Trent would be something alright. I remember an interview with Steve from the Ultrazone period where he claimed that Reznor was the closest thing that we have to a "rock genius...

I would rather have Vai not have an opening act either, but Sardinas is the real deal. I have to agree that the Sardinas you hear on record is nothing like experiencing him live; the energy is x10. He is an excellent choice. He plays guitar, but his dark mystique, tatoos, and gritty blues sound is a...
