Alright, what u do is, when u listen to this song, imagine two cats outside in the deep woods having a oriental fight and whats coming out of their mouths is that main verse melody line. It will give u a cheap laugh.

its a combination of both, sweeping and picking. like the arpeggios at the begining. u take one of the parts, and a few notes at begining and end of the arpeggio scale are picked, and some others are sweeped. The more u can pick and still keep the speed, the better it will sound though. I really don...

If thats the case, U should deffinatly check out some john scofield from his UBERJAM album and on, thats when he was getting really creative i think.

Hey any of u have used or witnessed a Open Lab product, like the OMX OpenStudio Digital Audio workstation? They're like computers, but just for recording.
