I know that the Green Meanie Charvel was used for just about all of it. I dont think he was using the Carvin X100B, I have one, and while it does the Flex-Able tone, it doesnt' do a very good Eat Em and Smile tone. The Peavey JSX does a pretty nice Eat Em and Smile tone, not as good though Doesn't ...

Not really.

It will do fine for subtle warbles, but if your going to whammy, you need a quality floyd rose.

I want a VH100R really bad.

From what I hear, its pretty bright.


I think a Carvin Legacy will fit the bill. Even though its a Steve Vai forum, my opinion isn't biased. . its really is a good amp, that is nice and warm and liquid smooth.

I really want one.. . and a VH100R.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the Eat Em and Smile tone. . .it sounds like its just barely crunchy. . but sustains like its dimed out, Its very very cool. Very Clear and Clean. Especially the tone on Tobacco Road. If I could choose any tone to have as my rig, I would choose this. I dont know what exactly ...
