Re: Sex & Religion Tour - unknown song title?

I believe it was called Miserable, though I cant remember where I first heard that title from. It contained a bit of the pre chorus from SYL`s "All Hail The New Flesh", the "Im So Sorry" bit.

Re: Whitesnake - Donington 1990 Live DVD

Good sound, much much better than the FM audio version thats been going around, and I dont just been the quality, the mix is better, the guitars are much more separated, the drums no longer sound like dustbins, lol.. On the downside the video is from about 4 cameras only, so its not the most dynamic...

Thanks for the help guys. Its a lovely guitar, if a little thin sounding for my tastes. (I have a Jackson Randy Rhoads as well and that sounds like wading through syrup in comparisson, lol).

The neck however on the RG is preposterously thin!!! :D

Ibanez RG560

Ive got an old RG560, dated around 1991, original Edge trem etc. I was just curious as the relationship between the rg series (550 and 560) and the Jem line: whats the similarity in neck dimensions etc? Ive heard the RG series were basically the Jems but without the signature features like lions cla...

Hiya, Im thinking of slimming down my rig to something more portable yet expandable depending on the job I need it for. Im looking into going rackmount with my gear, and getting a good preamp that I can use in a multitude of situations. The question I have though is regarding Power Amps for this kin...

Toss Panos was the drummer for a large part of the tour when Abe Laboriel apparently got sick midtour and have to leave, with Toss Panos learning the songs in a day. Regarding bootlegs there are quite a few available from this tour, mainly audios, but there are a few videos out there too. None pro s...

Breaking out of pentatonics

Hi, i`ve been playing for a good few years now, and although I like my phrasing, and some other bits of my playing, my note choices for solos are very limited, mainly involving pentatonic bluesy type scales..anyone suggest an easy(ish) technique to get out of the rut, something to kick start me into...

How about gold leafing the body before applying an polyurethane finish. you can buy it online from home decorating sites. You don't have to be too careful when applying it since any snags or imperfections look really cool! Copper leaf also looks yummy! I have an old Ibanez RG 560 which has been str...
