OK, i've checked Yngwie's video... And he says nothin about strings gauge in there :( BUT. Now i recall where i saw it. That was in the live video YJM was performing in Japan in 1985. I think it is a tad overpriced (I have never played one though :? ) But is not that overpriced. check out some vintage strats (£10000!!!!) for some.

You could get a custom shop warmoth for about $2000 and that would be made to YOUR needs. (just my opinion though :twisted: )

What will the tube amp change. Does it give off more distortion than a solid state amp? A SS gives off more gain than tube most of the time. But it sounds colder and buzzier. (listen to a cranked tube amp it will sound warm and creamy) :twisted: about the fx its all opinion guys. one is not better ...

I don't see how haveing a scalloped neck would make a difference. You still have to lower the string with your fretting fingers the same distance: the height of the frets. I'm sure the low action is part of why he's so efficient. You can bet your buns they've got super-low action, but their boards ...

I liked that guitar when I tried it. the pickups are much betteer than the Ibanez V's. But i prefered my RG550 overall for playability. and I stuck EMGs in it it kicks ass. :twisted:
