That is NOT pretty much it. Get a pointy pick...those rounded ones are for sloppy players and make it harder to play super fast. Jazz picks are pointy but might be too small for you. There are normal-sized ones that are pointy as well. This is the most important thing of all IMO. Playing superfast ...

Agreed, too rich for my blood...but you can get awesome material from lots of places these days. Find the killer local players close to where you live and pick their brain.
