Either write one of the guitar magazines or learn the root and basic framework of the original piece, cuz that's definitely available, and then use your ear to fit in the parts that Steve added and a little bit of your own jive. You can do it, if you really want to. I think that's your only solution...

You may want to curse me after you here what I am about to say but I'll still consider myself a huge Vai fan no matter what. I never heard "The Moon and I." The last full length release I bought was Real Illusions: Reflections.
