Yeah I can recognise JP's playing instantly as I can Malmsteen, Satch or Vai.

Also JP himself says he is influenced by Al Di Meola and Vai, as well as Steve Morse and various others (all Steves or Als)

Yeah, I appreciate Van Halen's playing but I'm not really a big fan of the music... I hardly ever listen to it. I think I could possibly say the same for Hendrix.

Re: GUITARISTS THAT ANNOY ME

It wouldnt hurt my feelings if keith richards put down his axe. He and Mick Jagger went to school about 15 minites from my house, the school has also got an arts performance center called ' The Mick Jagger Center'... bit that pissed ol' Kieth off... It wouldn't bother me if he put down his axe... a...

Wouldn't be expect that album anytime too soon as long as Kirk's in Metallica... if memory serves correct... one of the reasons Jason left was because in the law of metallica, no solo/side projects allowed.

So yeah the Justin Timberlake CD isn't to bad from a general music standpoint. I am not talking about what anybody likes here just stating soem general facts... It has some good "grooves" and catch stuff. The melodies are well thought through and there are some great harmonies. There is some failry...

The thing is we can argue all day long, only to realise that we're not going to get our opinion into the other person's head. Something I learnt from my other guitarist... refuses to even give any pop music a chance... As I said before I like JT, and I think his stage shows are good too. Anyone who ...

Yeah I'm another one who can admit to liking his album. Don't think Greg Howe plays with Justin anymore though, but I do remember he played with *NSYNC (Another band I was surprisingly drawn to!) As for the comment on justin being a class dancer... he's okay  Couldn't say the same for his beat...

I've generally found most rock videos suck, and pop videos tend to be more interesting... of course that could have something to do with the huge budget they get. Michael Jackson's music videos kick ass, and I thought *Nsync's video for "It's gonna be me" was pretty well done too. Some of Eminem's v...
