Re: Legacy I Question

Thanks guys.

I do love the warm, smooth, modern overdrive of my Legacy. But sometimes I want a slightly more 'classic' rock sound. I'll keep playing with the eq searching for different tones.

Cheers,

Legacy I Question

Is it possible to get kind of a JCM800 rock tone from a Legacy I from playing with the EQ contols?

Cheers,

From memory the last 4 frets were scalloped on the original Jem 1/4 inch heal joints for easier access. Since the introduction of the AANJ, the need for scalloped frets no longer exist but are kept for the purpose of nostalgia.
I read this somewhere many years ago, most likely jemsite.

You used to be able to download the video at the Nelly Furtado website. It was a while ago, might still be there.

I find the original Edge easier to use, but the low pro looks cool and stays in tune so well.
Instead, how about a poll to bring back the tremsetter as standard on high end guitars?

Try Before you buy.
As much as I like Jems (I have 2), the JS is by far the most comfortable guitar for me to play. They are also pretty much as versitle as each other, so give em both a drive around the block before you commit.
Are we screwed in this country or what for quality instruments.

I have a photo of Steve playing it from the EEAS tour. You'll need to protect both sides as there are pictures covering the whole thing.
I have seen clear Jem style pickguards for sale on ebay.

The strings on a guitar equiped with a locking bridge are spaced slightly further apart. So because of this you can buy pickups with two different spacing "F" and "S". Just think "F" is for floyd. The pole pieces are further apart than on a "S" spaced pickup.

I admire your determination.
Just tune your guitar, I think you will sound better for it.

I have A 5150II head and matching quad. I love mine to bits, the lead channel sings, and the clean channel can actually play clean despite what people say. I would advise play it first. On the 5150 you only get one EQ to control both channels where as on the mark II you get 2 independant EQs and I h...

I didnt like the blue because the vine was hidden against the fretboard. But I think it has a lot more class than the new mirror finish. Although, I would like to see the new one in person. I have a feeling it would look much better than the pictures show.
