Yeh ALS on steroids as the term has been put is an awesome idea. RI i thought was 2 left of centre. Vai is an awesome cheesy sleazy guitar player from circa 1980, not some amazing composer, (which he is). But god damm it he plays guitar with a hole in it and with his tonque. Steve Vai needs to kick...

While waiting for the dvd take a look at this great performance of "The Crush Of Love" in Stockholm 1990 with Stuart Hamm and Jonathan Mover. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tt-uYGgcz2o I guess this must be from the "Flying In A Blue Dream" tour, and maybe this concert was right before or after the ...

"Flying", "Satch Boogie" and "Surfing" are heard quite many times on his live CD`s and DVD`s but in all: quite good! What I`m looking forward the most on this DVD is Dave Larue. I hope he brings new fire to the older songs. I saw Satch this summer in Sweden and Dave LaRue OWNED!!! He breathes new l...

Re: ok... wow.. ibanez content from me!!
is it just me, or does anybody else feel petrucci had cooler and better sounding guitars when he was with ibanez? his MM sounds like a fart. I agree to 100%!!! When he switched to EBMM his playing became too fast (never thought I'd say that), unmelodic & robot like almost. But I love him anyway. I ...

SOme may not like he's getting away from shread but i am. id like to see him go in a new direction. Live, he's not getting away from shred. He must have played a zil...
