P.S.: hee man you can virtualy play the guitars on the site!
try that... maybe it works a bit for sounding...
Yeh I did it, it's funny. :D

I though that EMG pickups were essentially design for Metal, but it sounds also very good in Dire Straits.

I thought there was a link with Steve's martian love secrets... But now I don't remember exactly what does Edgar and what was the link with Steve. It was in a period I was interested by all these mystical things in Steve's albums. Now I think that the essential is the big work he did (and does) for ...

Absolutly no idea. I just know that you can clean up your present strings after playing with special lemon lotion. If you have problems of hand humidity, I also know that it is much better to play on a no-varnished neck than on a varnished.

Really ?
True, Daddario are good, I played with it in the past I never had pb.
Maybe the quality change with the type of strings I don't know. I personally use 9-42 (pink pocket), and it doesn't break even if I play Bad Horsie intro among a week.
Never tried DR's and Fenders.

It was just in case if someone breaks his strings every mounth, the floyd is not necessary guilty as I thought earlier.
Cryogenic strings are expensive but not resistant.
Nevermind if you're not interest by this topic.

Comparaison between two marks of strings

Hi, I don't want to make advertisment but I really think that Ernie Balls are much better than Dean Markley: When I used Deans, my strings were always broken (every mounth) because of an important use of the floyd. I thaught the floyd cut it. Now, with the Ernies I didn't changed strings for 6 mount...

Little thinking for Dave Weiner

Sure it's not the same song as Dave plays in the Astoria DVD but it is in this spirit.

Fire garden suite ?

Hi

I read it was written ***= drums
Steve= everything else

Did Steve really record the virtuoso solo on the piano ?

I always thought it was played by Mike Keanelly.
