Technical complexity can very easily translate into beauty if done correctly. I do not think that Cooley is the correct use of technicality. You can come to my school and ask the cellists about the technical complexity of Beethoven's 9th Symphony and you'll probably find that they have plenty to sa...

The two posts above serve as a wonderful representation of Shy Boy losing it. He has run out of logical fire power and is not nit-picking my type-o's in an effort to make me feel bad about myself because he has been incorrect all this time and wastes his life making videos about guitarists who do n...

Delay: Boss DD-3

Overdrive, try and grab an Analogman Silver Mod TS9, and an Xotic AC Booster - that pairing really cooks. For chorus, I use the Boss CE5 - but only really on clean chord work, so I don't know how you'll want to use it.

I'd suggest learning to sing the solo before you even touch a guitar. Obviously, there are parts that'd be v. difficult to sing, so just get the rhythms for those bits or sing them an octave lower or something. When you've learnt to sing it, you'll have internalised it and the whole feel of it will ...

Regardless of how long you practice, you should take breaks every 15 or so minutes.

But the best way to learn how to play it is playing the damn thing Gonna disagree with you there. The best way, in my opinion, to get the hang of them is to internalise the rhythms and how they feel. For this purpose, the "hippopotamus" approach is a good one. As soon as you can start feeling the r...
