the worst i've heard has to be all the songs on the a change of seasons album
those are some horrible covers, does the dream theater dudes even know how to play their instruments properly?

basically, just go out and buy every DT albums!!but i think you can survive without falling into infinity.

and you should probaly get some dt side project like lte as well

vai's little is great, but don't forget srv's version, it's really good too

and one of the worst cover songs has got to be lenny kravits' american women

the best opeth album is definitely Still Life
they are one of my favorite Death/prog metal bands
and for people who digs opeth, you should seriously check out Amon Amarth too, excellent melodic death metal band, especially the album vs. the world

friedman is one of my personal favorites, he work on rust in peace is superb, his ambient albums like introduction and scenes are really enjoyable
and of course his new album music for speeding is awesome, incorperating metal, japenese pop, and techno
