Re: A New Jem????

The things I mainly don't like about it is the logo and how it just says Steve's name through the logo with the earth behind it, and the fact that because it's a hardtail model I was expecting a much more affordable JEM :?

Re: Thd hotplate

I'm gonna agree with Big Bad Bill, and recommend getting an Ultimate Attenuator instead. A lot more expensive but with more options, and it works under any impedance. I've heard the test clips with max attenuation on for bedroom levels and it's really hard to pick up the difference in tone.

Vai's political views and favorite 2008 Candidate?

I'm interested in Steve's current ideas and views on government and if he is more left or right or somewhere in the middle. Something tells me about the way he does things and the music he plays that I have a slight hunch he is more liberal, but I'm interested to know for sure!

Brilliant guitar and playing Guitarman, but who in god's name is giving you three star ratings for your Guitar Rig contest on Youtube?

Also, do you think you can try to get the last picture you post to wallpaper size? I'd love have to that as my background! Thanks :)

Hey Mikey, Volume 3 is now up on iTunes, but of course, Fire Garden Suite can only be purchased if the entire album is bought... Which strikes me as odd, since if you have all the tracks to distribute as a whole in the first place, they must be really lazy

I can honestly say I did not see that coming. Very clever work guys, I'm going to possibly have to flip a coin between this and the Satchurator, they are both amazing pedals.

Bizarre. I like the concept, and the Midi sounds are alright, but the effects kind of sound like crap, and there ain't much use to a volume knob controlled pitch shifter...

Hey Mikey, just letting you know, no idea if you do, but Volume Three, the Fire Garden naked album is missing from the iTunes store (much to my dismay :D). Any idea why and when it will be up?

Loosening Whammy Pedal?

Hey just got a Digitech Whammy 4 and it's a little stiff. But whenever I try to loosen it, it doesn't work well and the tool I'm using takes off the paint... Anyone know an easy way to loosen this pedal up? Also, do I have to loosen both hexagon bolts?

In this months Guitarist Magazine, you can hear 6 demos of the Jemini Pedal with the knobs in different positions. I do notice though that the reference tone is slightly distorted already before the Jemini is turned on, which would make the finished sound "false" as to what the Jemini by itself sou...

I just played them, pretty cool, although a lot of the things you do on a real guitar in these songs with effects and vibrato seem kind of lost, and they miss charting some notes. A little lazy, but I can finally jump around with a plastic controller and play a Vai and Satch song!

http://www.ibanez.com/videos/Prestige_S_SV.swf Unfortunately, the bad things I'm hearing about sustain (Rich from Ibanezrules.com can confirm) and the kinda dull pickups kind of lead me away from buying one. Note how he never really lets a note ring out with using the bar in the video. Although, I'...
