I had this problem as well, except that after the volume dip, buzzing came after every pick attack.

I think what i did was swap out one of the preamp tubes for a new one and all was good again.

I've heard about that as well, but all the strings perform as if they were coated. Good stuff

As for the humidity issue, i stay in a humid area too, so it should be ok.

They really do last 3-5x longer than normal(ernie ball) strings The thing with slinkys is that after the initial coating comes off after about an hour or...

A used Carvin Legacy combo will cost about $600+, and is switchable to 50 watts.

Yes he uses a bad horsie which is spring loaded to rock back into position after he releases the pressure on the pedal
