Re: Too scared to play slow ??

You cant hide behind technique and flashy speed if it doesnt fit the music. seems to me some players just CANT play slow cause it'll just show them up for having no feel or taste... take this for example http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KIN3Yta97vE" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; That ...

Re: Legacy III

Well this Legacy III looks awesome! Sounds great, and I do have one question. Does Steve really play THAT loud? I looked at the settings on the amp and the master volume is at 10. And the volumes are at like 5! I did that on my amp and nearly shat myself!!! Big Bad Bill would pee himself at that ki...

Re: A Different Kind of Truth-Van Halen

I don't think anyone is agruing that Sammy can't speak up - but his arroganct approach to interviews and how he's ALWAYS right kind of stinks. I completely understand why Eddie is keeping his mouth shut. He doesn't need to feel the need to abuse people in every interview. And Dave doesn't wear stoc...

Re: A Different Kind of Truth-Van Halen

So speaking your mind when asked makes you not nice? Also factor in all the publicity you get for speaking out about your former band.

Re: A Different Kind of Truth-Van Halen

I do think people get a bit carried away when they talk about Michael's influence on VH. Exactly how many songs did he write? I doubt very much at all. ASCAP has him a songwriting credit for most Van Halen songs though legal wranglings in recent years saw Van Halen remove him from the tracks on alb...
