I'd be happy with either.

If I were forced to choose... I'd take RI:2. As there would be no breaker to lessen the still flowing energy of the first.

Im sure its feasible, but the latency on that would be ridiculous. It would have to deconstruct the harmonic structures of chords and then retune each string. It may be more feasible if it knew what string and fret you were at, but then it would throw off bends and any purposed out of tune notes. Th...

After watching it, I kinda wonder what goes on discussionwise with the studio that records the film before the actual filming. Even though I was satiated with this new DVD release, I see it as having more potential than what was presented. Maybe I'm being to critical, but I wonder if the director (i...

I own the DXMG. I had problems with the trem after 3 years, and needed new saddles (this was before fender bought it though, quality is better nowadays). It needed new pickups as the pickups are voiced more towards metal. Otherwise it plays really well, the neck is fatter than a RG's wizard or wizar...

I think metal guitarists use them cause they're suited for metal  . They're hard to break, at least in my experience, and never had a problem with the electronics (after I changed the pickups, blech). I bought one cause I liked the feel of the neck (more meat than a wizard or wizard 2), and mo...

Well, it depends. If the music that you play with that guitar sounds relatively the same as Mr. Vai, then yes. If the music is a significant departure of Mr. Vai, then no. Also it depends on what you do to make it yours. Any reverse Strat- one automatically thinks Jimi, any scalloped Strat- one thin...
