On a side note, for improvising, what I am doing, is just learning a bunch of solos, by my favorite players (Clapton, SRV, Vai, Rhoads, EVH, Page, Beck) and trying to expose myself to different styles, and then takes little licks and runs out of there solos and rember them vividly. Then add them in...

There is so many things to focus on!.
I wouldent do that, i do lots and lots of things - i dont plan what im doing as such unless im actually noticably BAD at something.

I had minimal improvisational skills until I got an excellent guitar tutor.
