oooh ooh ooh! do an album with britney spears ! just kidding. i've read through some of the other posts, people saying do what feels right - i agree - but you did ask for our input (and simply saying do what feels right doesn't give you which choice one would prefer), so considering the time involve...

a post-ALS cd will make a nice transition into the next RI cd... plus it will even add a refreshing perspective for the performer(s). Make the cd like 90% ACOUSTIC!!!!!!!!!!! (10% electric and special fx!) okay, 77% acoustic. We want lots and lots of ACOUSTIC in there! Steel string, nylon string, 12...

Message for SV

Steve Vai, I was told you'd be reading fan-reviews. Here ya go... wow. If I summarize it up in one word it is: Wow. Okay... now, more thoughts on the whole thing... The P&W music sounds great with the orchestra. I really like the balance, even from what the internet broadcast provided, between you a...

I own the magazine. That work-out has special meaning to me. When I was a li'l brat I would practice literally 10 hours a day, the majority of that time just on that work-out. This was summer time, when I put all those hours in. But the concept of the work-out is still a very strong one and it is ve...

MUSIC Q&A (giving/getting advice)

There isn't really a topic in here that seems fitting for general music Q&A, so I thought adding this subdivision of one in this section would help for starters. The ideas I have in mind for this basically include anything about music in general that anyone on this message board might want to ask or...

Re: Flex-Able Leftovers 10"

:D I just got an original Flex-Able Leftovers 10" record! I've wanted one for years.... It even came with the first Vai newsletter......way too cool! Aaaa! I droooool at the thought of owning that! If I was better off financially I'd pay a LOT of money for something like that, then frame it in a bu...

Along the lines of his box set, it'd be nice to have a collage disc (DVD instead of CD) of snip-its, or completes, of his videos... like the grammy performance... the promo videos (like for foot peds or guitars)... etc.

No way!? Wow... The "When I was a Little Boy" picture? It says at the bottom that the picture was taken by John Vai.

If there wasn't an Ibanez guitar... not even a single one on this planet... then I'd have to build a home made guitar with as close to the same specs to an Ibanez as possible. No other guitar is good enough in my honest opinion. It has to be either a Steve Vai or Joe Satriani guitar... well, or anyt...
