maybe it's just me ?????

I don't know but i ALWAYS think its a mistake NOT to film EVERY show you do you never know when a magic moment or two will happen. In westbury, for me it was without doubt whispering a prayer AND his reaction to the standing ovation for the love of God. Unbeknownest to me that night was the fact tha...

Me and my friends hung out about 15 mins after the show and were told steve would NOT be out for AT LEAST another hour......we figured that translated to like an hour and 20 mins........we were only willing to wait an additional 20 mins so we split.........how long was it before he came out and abou...

westbury

Thought the opening act TSO were good but Way to loud. At about a quarter before 6 to about 6:30 there were only about 8 fans out by the bus was hoping Steve might pop out just for two or three mins considering the limited number of people.....sorta felt bad for this 9 year old kid having a heart at...

Re: Lame crowd

[quote="cometboy"]I went to the show last night and my biggest disappointment was the crowd. Anyone who attended the show last night should be ashamed of themselves. When Vai hit the stage, I saw 3 three people, including myself, stand up and cheer for the greatest guitar player on the planet. MAN t...

Hi I don't know if the following forum exsist but just a passing idea. I truely believe Any artist needs his own room to create. On the other hand when people go to a show for a particular artist I truely believe they almost expect/deserve to hear what might be considered 4 or 5 of his signature son...

Nyc Halloween

Don't know if was the band or the venue or BOTH but the acoustics were EXCEPTIONALLY crystal clear. Hoping they play the NYC area next year (twice) as they did this year. It was really hard to pick anyone hi-light the entire show was excellent start to finish. And what a Venue to see a show I don't ...

a question 4 Steve or Anyone else here

I noticed that Jeff Beck uses very few "toys". I am trying to figure out WHY (AT LEAST FOR ME) he is the hardest sound to mimic of anyone I've ever heard. do you guys agree with this ? I suspect his many seemingly infinte nuances are coming primarily from the whammy bar. Am I wrong in this assumptio...

school

Steve said this , in an interview in a french hard rock magazine may 2000 I was not very good at school. I was null in English and history, but I was excellent in maths... and music. this does NOT surpise me in the least. While i would NOT discourage anyone from formal studies, I have found the fol...

Re: Did Steve Do Good in School When He Was a Kid?

This is sort of random, but I was just thinking about how Steve use to practice for rediculous amounts of time every day when he was a teenager and now I am wondering if he had any time for school work. So, how did you balance your time Steve? Or did you just play guitar until you passed out every ...
