Re: "Live In Minneapolis: Where The WIld Things Are" DVD REVIEWS
Watch some youtube stuff with Steve live on stage with say Mike Kenneally and you see the Vai I like. All that said I´d recommend anyone to go out and get the DVD.i´ve been following Steve since he played with Zappa at the tender age of 19. I would agree, there was a different kind of show and energ...

AMAZING, AWESOME,VERY COOL! I haven't sat down and done the commentary, but we watched the show last night with the kids before dinner. really crisp and clear, visually and audio. Brought back memories of that tour and the EVO, how cool the band was and how cool it was to have the 2 violins in the b...

That was cool shit.
Thanks. I am even MORE anxious for the arrival of mine now.
Everything looked so crisp. You also gotta love the whole charity event. Class act that guy, Vai.

Re: dedicated to who?
It appears I will have to wait to listen to the rest and watch the DVD, as mine has not arrived yet.
I hoping tomorrow. Of course, the Fed Ex truck could pull up before the end of today.

Re: Bass guitarist and drummer for Steve Vai next band?
Drums = Mike Portnoy is great great drummer but Id prefer Damien Schmitt because of his unusual style and versatility.Steve Vai has done all that can be done in the rock style genre.I think he should try a fusion style and a drummer like Schmitt would fit that to a "t". Hadrien Feraud is great play...

Very cool. Pia has been and is , one busy lady. Just another example of what a genuine and grounded guy Steve is and that is a big part of the appeal, to me anyway.

dedicated to who?
I have been listening to the Other Wild Things and Steve dedicates Whispering a Prayer to, it sounds like "Clinton and Kirsten and the other members", because they will always be there. I can't clearly make it out. Anyone know who it is or what exactly he says? Just curious, cause I'm silly like tha...

Re: I Want to meet...
Honestly, I am not interested in meeting any of those people except maybe Gilmour. I have met Gene Simmons, Portnoy, Petrucci, Gary Hoey, Dweezil Zappa and of course, Steve a couple of times.
But, that is just me, I'm sure others would like to meet those folks.

Re: 15 September 2009: DVD Premiere, Egyptian Theatre Hollywood
I tried to scrape together the cash to attend. I am laid off right now and despite trying to sell shit off on Craigslist, I wasn't able to muster the needed funds :( . Oh well, maybe next time. Looks like a great time and fun for all. I would be curious how well the auction went. I heard some of the...
