Re: guitar wiring

your non shielded wire shouldn't be a problem. You may be grounding out the signal somehow, or have the pots wired in reverse. Start simple, check the cord is plugged into the amp correctly (I have made this mistake) Get a multi meter and check for a short circuit. First take some signals directly o...

Re: Your Ultimate G3

My dream (and outright predictable) G3 show
Vai
Satch
Andy Timmons

Oh, and they should play on Dec 23rd 2012.

OR!!!! Dave Weiner, and Galen Henson, battling it out for a spot on the next G3. I'd pay good money for that:)

Re: ronnie james dio has cancer

I just saw him last August touring with Sabbath as Heaven and hell.
He looked a bit tired, but I didn't think much of it.
Very sad to hear - Be strong Ron!!!

I wish they produced more of your Legacy model. Mine is noisy as F*&^K on the gain channel even with the volume turned down on my guitar. I need to use a decimator to quiet that beast.

I like to think that David Gilmour has never let me down. Period. Doesn't matter if you go back to their early work on Saucer full of Secrets, or On an Island, whatever it is he has presence. The guitar and vocals both inhabit a voice so distinct it haunts you. Really it doesn't matter who is on sta...

I heard a lot of people say that they weren't into Zack, or that they didn't like his set. So naturally when I went to the show last month to see Steve, I was very intrigued to see Zack's show. I thought he was an awsome entertainer, and a great guitarist. sure I don't NORMALY listen to his style of...

quick observation I had on the sound: last Sun. The amps and such are fine volume at the start of the show, but when mic'd up with the 57's (or whatever else) I find it hard on the ears. Pa's seem much harsher to me especially when they are being gradually turned up throughout the show. So by the en...

Absolutely a terrific show! I have only seen Steve play here with Dweezil last winter, so this was highly anticipated. As for the songs, You guys played all the ones I wanted to hear thanks again. All About Eve, Oooo, Freakshow Excess, Building the church, Tender surrender, the list goes on, but tho...
