No he didn't .......... he just stole them from old Blues players ... Seriously though , back in the 70's , when I was but a kid , I wanted to grow up to be Jimmy Page . So I've got to vote yes , I love Led Zep . Wrong. Most of the lyrics were similar, which is what got them in trouble. Other...

I think they're okay, I never really got it. I think they're wildly over rated. But heavy metal music isn't overrated? You get heavy metal music but you don't get Zeppelin? I don't get you. Led Zeppelin will be the first to say they're not metal. Metal may have some from that style of music ...

No he didn't .......... he just stole them from old Blues players ... Seriously though , back in the 70's , when I was but a kid , I wanted to grow up to be Jimmy Page . There's some wannabe 'music-elitist' assholes whom I've met online who don't consider Vai to be a virtuoso. They usually put John McLaughlin, Alan Holdsworth and Shawn Lane at the top of their virtuoso list, great guitarist, but I just don't see the attraction, I've forced myself to sit through some...

10,000 days is pretty good, but like The Wolf said, the vocals were to muddy and seemed way back in the mix. I had to look up the lyrics online because I could barely understand him.

I like to use 3 notes per string when playing scales as well. The patterns they create are represented better - to me that is.

They might have sped up or slowed the song(s) down in the studio. Just for example, Zeppelin used the technique in songs like When the Levee Breaks and No Quarter. The pitch changes when they screw around with speed I guess.

Or their tunners are terribad
