great thanks for the advertisement for $30 more you can get a brand new one also the second generation of them without the sticker on the pedal bought this 2004 in guitar center...... I don't get hums. I only get it when an appliance is turned on in my room. BTW...about the amp being versatile.... ...it doesn't have the highs ...which I can get from my mod Carvin MTS3212. If I want to get Satch tones...it can get close but not REALLY close...you have to change powertubes and prea...

dude...since you are in Pasadena....if it's CA...then you are lucky...why not drive down to Sunset Blvd. and try both amps.....both Carvin and Mesa are just next door to each other....and across the street is Guitar Center...maybe they have some 2nd hadn boutique amps there too...if you are lucky.
