another proof that digital modeling is still not that close to the real thing. Check out Line 6, they payed Bogner to contribute making digital/tube hybrid. For me the best combination would be all tube circuit with digital interface, so you can store patches and whatnot without putting digital stu...

well to be honest, i really don't use the 3d pedal that often, but that's just because i'm not a real heavy-effects guy, I like to keep it clean and simple. The tubes really add depth to your sound, if you'd come across one for testing, just turn the tube knobs off, play a bit, then turn them on, th...

i'm a big fan of the Zoom G9.2tt
it's worth the extra bucks (instead of settling with the 7.1ut), because the extra tube does add a lot...

the reason you can hear the difference between a guitar and a piano for example, is because each object has it's own set of harmonics that are not directly audible, but they do shape the sound. the absence/presence of certain harmonics make the sound different EDIT: i just say that you allready solv...

well i can only confirm the replies so far. it's divine! they're not only good for ballads, i play all sort of music with em, it can handle it all! the tone that comes out of those guitars is amazing! i love it to death! it's also very lightweight, so your neck and back don't hurt after a 3 hour jam...

well my vote would go to he js too. I've only played a jem in a store very briefly, and it was set up horribly, but it just didn't fit me. It seemed a lot bigger than the js, and the neck didn't play the way i expected, but that could be due to the poor setup. Anyway the Js is simply amazing! The to...

not entirely true about the quality of hifi and all, i believe the presence of certain frequencies will improve the overall sound, i doubt you really miss anything because anything in the 19-20K range will not give direct changes. The subleties of the sound will be less in that range, but it will ha...

Despite this great care I lavish on my hearing, I tested my hearing recently and found that the highest frequency I can hear was only around 16KHz! [color] wow that sucks! especially as a musician! i did a test too a short while ago and i got up to 18k, allmost 19k, i know i hear something but i ca...
