It's also been a lot easier for exposure and such for new releases. I mean, when Dark Side of the Moon came out in the 70s, music didn't have the promotional avenues we have, today. The same can also be said with movies. I once heard that, though Star Wars: A New Hope isn't on the top of the best se...

@ Yorksha_Pud Glad you got into DT's music, and you likely going to enjoy their music for a long time to come. As for the next world tour, I do not think it will happen until at least the end of 2007 or even 2008. They just fulfilled their contract with Atlantic, and are in the process of finding a...

I didn't forget! Awesome! So anyway, how did you get to know DT, dude? I didn't know anyone who knew who they were when I was at UCA. I knew about them on MTV's Headbangers' Ball back in 1992. The first video I watched was Pull Me Under, and then Take The Time a couple months later. It was TTT that...

I'd either suggest to set the time to whatever that ending meter is (it should help you realize where you are when playing), or use this online metronome: http://www.metronomeonline.com/

Their best album IMO is METROPOLIS, PT. 2: SCENES FROM A MEMORY because it is so well written. If you want to just get an idea of their early style and songwriting, then I'd recommend IMAGES AND WORDS. Or, if you want to here their modern songwriting style, pick up TRAIN OF THOUGHT. Or, if you reall...
