Does it hurt you insome way? Hey man, no offense or anything...but i don't think this guy is saying anything against Steve playing as a band...he just said that he 'would like' to see Steve play as a trio....Don't we all have dreams?! And my point was, Why? What is the benefit? More room on the sta...

Well, I'm almost certain to get flamed for this comment, but I think that Joe should take a break and be replaced by someone like Ron Thal. It would be an interesting experiment, and give John, Ron and Paul more exposure to the kind of commercial success that Steve and Joe have enjoyed. With Steve ...

That's the true musician way  probably so did henrix Yeah, actually there's a story, I think it was mick jagger's girlfriend discovered hendrix, and tried t...

From G3 Melbourne Dec2. I was going to get EVO tickets, but unfortunately they weren't being offered, so I just got normal tickets. Then one of my friends who was also going told me that theres a back door that the musicians normally exit out of. So we waited around (there were some other folks aswe...

Was it by any chance the intro? There has been some discussion about that as there is an Indian band called Elita 5 who released a song around the same time as P&W, that uses that riff, and nobody knows whether Steve took that riff from them, or they took that riff from Steve. However I think Steve ...

Since you guys are mostly quoting the live album, I'm going to say in the Melb. Dec 2 G3, when Steve's guitar stopped working, he got the band to do an improvisation, then went straight into FTLOG. An amazing moment on so many facets. For one that more people would've seen, Liberty on live at the As...

If you're still not convinced, here's something I dug up from Stu Hamm's website, someone asked exactly the same question, and here was the reply: I was at that show, about 20 feet right in front of Stu and I can assure you that the crowd was NOT "boo-ing" him. He was also NOT "upset" - he acts a li...

I'm...

The reason that you hear it as boo rather than stu is that you're only hearing the oo, as that's the drawn out phoneme, and s' don't get projected very well considering how much you have to impede the airway to get that particular sound. Let's also think about this logically. Stu is the best bassist...
