Neil Zaza & Michael Anthony....

Anyone catch that Neil was in LA recording with Michael Anthony (Van Halen)? Been hearing quite a few rumors that in addition to Michael playing on Neil's next CD (along with Steve Smith, Ross Valory and more ace players to be named later), there may be more to this than meets the eye in that a new ...

Thanks RAI!

It was bugging me that I couldn't remember her last name.

Now I can move on with my life.

Her name escapes me at the moment (Chelsea something or other), but she is/was endorsed by Peavey. She's 14/15/16 or something like that.

She opened up the Guitar Player magazine NAMM concert 2 years ago in Anaheim. She was amazing.

If you're looking for some good examples of players who use a wah, check out Michael Schenker or Neil Zaza. Both tend to use the wah not in the typical "wah wah wah" sense, but as a treble boost & tonal enhancement. Engage your wah and experiment playing with the pedal in various positions. If you r...

I was at the show in Cleveland and that was the second time I saw them. (They were in town about a year ago with Opeth). Steve Wilson is a certified genius.

While thier new CD has it's moments, you still can't beat "Inabstentia" for pure brilliance.

Peace,

but, it also depends on how many effects you're lookin for too I guess, most of those multi-effects units are loaded with effects I'd never use. That's a great point. At the end of the day, all I need is digital delay, phaser, chorus, distortion and a wah. (Your requirements may vary  ) Altho...

Re: Single Stomp boxes vs Multi Effects pedal.

Yet another question :). How much better are single stomp boxes/effects than multi effects pedals? I've done stomp boxes, went to a BOSS GT3, went to rack mount (TC Electronics) and am now back with stomp boxes. (AH the quest for the perfect tone; a never ending journey eh? :D ) I will agree that m...

Santa brought me a Whammy last Christmas and while it's an interesting pedal, I found it to be a novelty. It's currently sitting with some other pedals that make thier way through the rotation on my board periodically. I'll tell you the one pedal that I recently added that has made a WORLD of differ...

Neil Zaza is using a Keeley modified TubeScreamer and it sounds great. There's a pic of it here (scroll down to see it); http://www.robertkeeley.com/product.php?id=35 Neil and Robert are actually working on a custom pedal that will be marketed to the public (later this year??). You can see the discu...
