Touching Tongues
Hey, does anyone have a backing track for this marvelous tune? I found one on guitarbt.com and it`s really good but for some reason it`s incomplete.
Thanks

A simple and elegant polyrythm idea, used by Fripp & Belew in one of the early 80's King Crimson record: Play an 8th note arpeggio in a 4/4 loop. Now, your fellow guitarist or the second midi track will play the same arpeggio but in 7/8, that is playing it like the 4/4 but just omitting the last 8t...

If notice the figerings in the interlude, (the bit where the keyboard enters and steves playing the arpeggios) it says that some of them are tapped, if you've watched the astoria dvd however you will notice that he doesn't tap anything, there are perfectly resonable fingerings for one hand for thes...

I understand why he made it easyer on live but ... How the hell did he manage to do it in sudio in the first place ?!?! ...well I gess it's juste Steve after all.... (crazy dude ...) I think he used a piece of cloth to mute the strings because it would have been unnecesseraly hard to record it othe...

He does it differently live. He doesn`t go that low down the ...

Re: G3 Japan sound
Well I have watched most of the G3, (bought it late and had to get ready for work). Anyway, I checked out the jam at the end, and as soon as I saw John P. come in last I knew that his sound would not be heard. You see I have watched the last two on DVD, and whomever is on the right of the stage doe...
